According to skreeonk.com, directors Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi already started principal photography for Toho's next Godzilla movie, set to debut next year!
The working title for Godzilla 2016 in this production phase will be Shin Gojira, which can be roughly translated to New/True Godzilla.

Warner Bros. has unveiled a new mini-trailer for Godzilla: King of The Monsters.
Snippets of new scenes are featured in this small peek.
After the majestic reworking of Debussy's Clair de Lune for the main trailer, the producers have now decided to show the new footage along an orchestral version of Over the Rainbow, a ballad originally written for The Wizard of Oz.
Odd musical choices for a big monster fight flick but, in my opinion, they're working wonderfully so far!

I'm very happy about this!!! Godzilla 2014 is still the best even though Vishnu is not in it. I still like M.U.T.O. (Male).
